Copyright reform – Julia Reda’s draft report on the Infosoc Directive

21 January 2015 – Julia Reda, rapporteur of the Legal Affairs Committee, presented yesterday in the European Parliament her draft report on the evalution of the Infosoc Directive 2001/29/EG. Reda, member of the German Pirate Party,  advocates for a harmonization of Copyright in the EU and an equal and mandatory implementation of  the exceptions and limitations in the Member States.  She is one of the few MEP who wants to make the EU lobbying transparent and has therefore published on her website the meeting requests of the lobbyists and interest groups.
